Fresno State Faulty and Staff,

Over the past two days some callers have reported their telephone calls to our campus were unsuccessful. Instead of being connected to the party they were calling, they received a message that they had "reached a default line at Fresno State". The issue we have been experiencing has affected only a small percentage of calls to campus. It does not affect calls made on campus either to other campus phones or to numbers off campus.

Technology Services staff has worked with our telephone system vendor and identified the cause of this problem. Our vendor will complete maintenance to our telephone switch tonight to correct the issue. This maintenance should not cause any disruption to telephone services.

We apologize for the inconvenience and expect the issue to be resolved before 8 am on Wednesday, August 25. If you experience any issues with the telephone system after that time, please contact the campus Help Desk at 559.278.5000.

Saturday 10 AM - 6 PM
Sunday 2 PM - 6 PM

The Help Desk will be open during the summer. From May 18th to August 7th, the Help Desk hours will be:

Monday - Friday 7 AM - 6 PM
Saturday Closed
Sunday Closed

 



Walk-In Support

The help desk is open for walk-in support Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in the McKee Fisk building, room 137 (campus map).
