Fresno State Faculty and Staff,

Beginning Monday Evening, February 2, Technology Services staff will be upgrading the software for all campus telephones. This maintenance is intended to correct the dial tone problem we have been experiencing. Updates will occur between 10 pm and 7 am and will be completed on all campus phones on or before Friday, February 6.

Please be aware that:
Beginning Monday afternoon, any phone that is unplugged and then reconnected to the network will automatically have its software upgraded. Should you need to unplug your phone to reestablish dial tone, please wait for the upgrade to complete (approx. 5 min) and do not unplug your phone again during that process.
Call logs stored in each phone will be cleared during the upgrade.
If you need emergency service and your campus phone does not have dial tone, please use your cell phone to cal 911. Please contact the Help Desk at 278.5000 if you have any problems or questions.
