On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, the Fresno State voicemail system will undergo an equipment and system software upgrade. The voicemail system will be unavailable at times beginning at 10 p.m. on April 22 and will be ready for regular use by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
During the upgrade, users will not be able to retrieve or leave voicemail messages and phones will not roll over to voicemail. For campus offices that use an automated menu of choices, callers will not be presented with these options. Existing and saved messages will be preserved and unread messages will remain unread. When the upgrade is complete, users will not need to re-record voicemail greetings, or make any changes to current voicemail settings.
During the upgrade the campus phone system will remain available for incoming and outgoing calls including calls to 911.
If users experience any voicemail problems after the upgrade is complete, they are encouraged to report issues to the Help Desk at 559.278.5000.
